Preparation

The more you put into a retreat, the more you get out of it. After signing up for a retreat, we will send you a detailed and easy-to-follow preparation handbook

These are the ways we encourage you to prepare yourself:

Physical
Preparation

The lighter and cleaner your body is upon consuming the sacrament, the less detoxification will be needed during the ceremony. In our preparation guide, you will receive information on how to best prepare the body before working with our sacraments through diet and lifestyle shifts.

Mental, Spiritual, and Emotional Preparation

Journaling is an excellent practice for gaining clarity on where we are, where we were, and where we’re going.  Preparing in this way can make your experience more relevant and insightful.  We recommend journaling every day for several days prior to the ceremony using our handbook. How you meet yourself in meditation and in your spiritual practice will mirror how you meet yourself in ceremony.

Preparing for Integration

Integration is just as important as the journey. The time immediately following a retreat is the best possible time for creating new habits, new ways of being, and new ways of relating to ourselves and others. If we immediately immerse ourselves back into our old life, that opportunity could be lost. Before coming to a retreat, we encourage you to set aside quiet and reflective time and space for yourself after the retreat.

Our Kitchen

Our bodies are precious gifts from the Earth,
deserving of the highest care and reverence.
All meals are included.
We offer vegan, vegetarian, and gluten free options.
Please let us know of any allergies on your intake form.
In our kitchen we value:

1. Quality Ingredients

Each ingredient is meticulously selected for its freshness, vibrancy, and simplicity.

We source from trusted distributors and local farmers.

2. Love and Care

Every grain, seed, nut and legume undergoes a sprouting process, optimizing both digestibility and nutrient richness. Our choice of cooking oils—avocado and coconut— minimizes the presence of polyunsaturated fats (PUFAs).

This dedication extends to staying informed about the latest food and health research, enabling us to continually refine and elevate our culinary offerings.

3. Relationships

Our dedication reaches far beyond the confines of our kitchen. Building relationships with like-minded distributors and local farmers deepens our ties to the community we cherish. Our dedication to ethical farming practices and waste reduction connects us to our Earth, and exemplifies our pledge to responsible stewardship.

This commitment to wholesome food is directly aligned with the profound experiences that can unfold during a retreat. A well-prepared body can better support and enhance your experience. At our retreats, the journey toward spiritual growth is not just about the mind and soul; it encompasses the care and respect we show for our spirits home, our bodies.

Integration

From the seed of intention to the rooted tree of transformation, our integration process is designed to support you on your journey to wholeness.
Integration means bringing parts together to make a whole. This includes our childhood, shadow, and divine nature. Our sacraments can bring awareness to these areas, but the teachings are only meaningful when they are implemented into our thoughts and actions.

This is why we believe having an integration process is just as important as the ceremony.

Beginning with preparation through guided journaling prompts, this is where you will get clear on your intentions. On the final retreat day, we will hold an integration workshop and work with you on designing an action plan. Lastly, we will have a follow-up meeting a week later to tune in with your progress.

If you’d like extra ongoing support, guidance, or accountability, we encourage you to connect you with one of our wonderful team members for 1-1 sessions. Email love@agapeayahuasca.com to schedule a free consultation with a facilitator for pre- or post-ceremony integration.
